Bizarre food: While in Moscow, I stopped in a store to buy a few bottles of authentic Russian vodka. My translator adamantly tried to convince me to buy a different brand, I didn’t realize why until later that day I saw a man washing windows with - you guessed it - the same vodka brand I just purchased. It was still the best vodka I ever had.
