A quick video to entice your tastebuds - our Creamy Bacon Bites recipe looks as good as it tastes. Well, not really, but it's definitely drool-worthy
2 cups Southern Recipe Pork Rinds, crushed
16 oz Cream cheese
10 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
12 oz Bacon, cooked and crumbled
6 Jalapeño peppers deseeded and diced
1/2 tsp. Salt
Mix chopped jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, onions and salt in a large bowl.
Form into 1.5-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet with plenty of space in between, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
After bites are chilled, whisk eggs in a bowl, and set aside. Place crushed pork rinds in a separate bowl.
Gently coat the chilled bites with the crushed pork rinds, lightly pressing the bites into the pork rinds. Dip the coated bites in the whisked egg and add a second coating of the pork rinds.
Fry in oil on medium heat, about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
